Soft Homemade Bread Rolls
Introduction:

Ingredients:
- 4 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 packet of active dry yeast (about 7g)
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of warm milk (about 110°F or 43°C)

- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil (or melted butter)
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
- 2 tbsp of butter (for brushing after baking)
Instructions:
- Activate the yeast:
In a small bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently, then let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy. - Prepare the dough:
In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt. Create a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture, warm milk, and oil. Mix until a dough forms. - Knead the dough:
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic. Alternatively, use a stand mixer with a dough hook for about 4-5 minutes on low speed. - Let it rise:
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a clean towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise for 1-1.5 hours, or until doubled in size. - Shape the rolls:
