Fluffy Brioche Bread Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 700g wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400ml warm milk
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 8g dry yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 80ml sunflower oil
  • 10g baking powder

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Activate the Yeast:
    • In a small bowl, mix the yeast with half of the warm milk and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
    • Let it sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking powder.
    • Add the yeast mixture, remaining sugar, eggs, oil, and the rest of the milk.
    • Knead the dough well until it becomes soft and elastic.
  3. First Rise:
    • Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours until it doubles in size (as shown in the first image).
  4. Shaping & Second Rise:
    • Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and place them in a greased or parchment-lined baking tray.
    • Let them rise again for 30-40 minutes.
    • Brush the top with a mixture of egg yolk and a little milk.
    • Sprinkle sesame seeds or any topping of your choice.
  5. Baking:
    • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
    • Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
