Fluffy Brioche Bread Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- 700g wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 400ml warm milk
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 8g dry yeast
- 2 eggs
- 80ml sunflower oil
- 10g baking powder
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Activate the Yeast:
- In a small bowl, mix the yeast with half of the warm milk and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
- Let it sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Add the yeast mixture, remaining sugar, eggs, oil, and the rest of the milk.
- Knead the dough well until it becomes soft and elastic.
- First Rise:
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours until it doubles in size (as shown in the first image).
- Shaping & Second Rise:
- Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and place them in a greased or parchment-lined baking tray.
- Let them rise again for 30-40 minutes.
- Brush the top with a mixture of egg yolk and a little milk.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds or any topping of your choice.
- Baking:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
