Grandma’s Classic Stuffed Celery
Crisp, fresh celery filled with a creamy, savory spread — simple, nostalgic, and always the first thing to disappear from the holiday table. Ingredients
- 1 bunch celery, washed and cut into 3–4 inch pieces
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp finely minced onion
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp finely diced red bell pepper (optional)
- 2 tbsp sliced green olives (optional, for topping)
- Paprika for light garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the celery:
Wash celery thoroughly and pat dry. Cut into even pieces and set aside. - Make the filling:
In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced onion, parsley, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. - Fill the celery:
Spoon or pipe the cream cheese mixture into the center of each celery piece. - Add toppings:
Sprinkle with diced red bell pepper, sliced olives, and a light dusting of paprika if desired. - Chill:
