A golden, crispy tortilla filled with juicy beef and melted cheese — simple, viral, and perfect for Facebook or family meals.
Ingredients (4 rolls)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 300 g ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cumin (optional)
- 1 cup cheddar or mozzarella cheese (or mix)
- 1 tbsp oil
- Butter or oil for frying
Instructions
- Cook the beef
Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and sauté until soft.
Add garlic, then ground beef. Cook until browned.
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin. Remove from heat. - Assemble the rolls
Lay a tortilla flat.
Add beef in the center, then a generous amount of cheese.
Fold sides inward and roll tightly like a burrito. - Crisp the rolls
Heat a pan with a little butter or oil.
Fry rolls seam-side down until golden and crispy on all sides.
(Or bake at 200°C for 15–18 minutes, brushing with butter.) - Serve hot
Slice in half to show the melted cheese inside
