Introduction: This marble yogurt cake is the perfect blend of soft, fluffy vanilla and rich chocolate flavors. The yogurt adds moisture and a tender crumb to the cake, while the swirled marble effect makes it both visually appealing and delicious. Ingredients:

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • A pinch of salt
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together, then gradually add them to the wet mixture. Mix until combined.
  4. Divide the batter into two parts. In one part, stir in the cocoa powder and milk to create the chocolate batter.
  5. Pour alternating spoonfuls of the vanilla and chocolate batter into the prepared pan. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the two batters together, creating the marble effect.
  6. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
