Ingredients:
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- A pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together, then gradually add them to the wet mixture. Mix until combined.
- Divide the batter into two parts. In one part, stir in the cocoa powder and milk to create the chocolate batter.
- Pour alternating spoonfuls of the vanilla and chocolate batter into the prepared pan. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the two batters together, creating the marble effect.
- Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar and serve. Enjoy your soft and fluffy marble yogurt cake!
