Ingredients:
- 700gā1kg (1.5ā2 lbs) chicken breast (cubed or whole)
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or homemade: garlic powder, onion powder, dill, parsley)
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- Optional:
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup cream cheese (for a creamy version)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
Instructions:
- Prep the chicken
- Place raw chicken in the slow cooker.
- Season with salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning.
- Add butter
- Pour melted butter evenly over the chicken (like in the image).
- Cook
- Cover and cook:
- Low: 5ā6 hours
- High: 3ā4 hours
- Cover and cook:
- Optional creamy version
- Add cream cheese during the last 30 minutes.
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Serve
- Shred or leave in chunks.
- Serve over rice, pasta, or with veggies.
Tips:
- Add potatoes or carrots to make it a full meal.
